At all MAPA meets, awards will be given for Best of Show and Favorite Plate. Longest distance traveled and ribbons for all displays.

February 2024

The Mid-America Plate Association held its Winter meet on February 24 in Peotone IL.  The meet was attended by 46 ALPCA members with attendees from 6 different states and plenty of donuts were available for breakfast and pizza was served for lunch. Long distance was Jeff Fazekas from Arvada Colorado. Favorite plate was a 1962 Alabama Governor from Al Matulis. Tim O'Conner won the best display award for his porcelain New Jersey plates.

 

October 2023 Awards

The Mid-America Plate Association held its Fall meet on October 7 in Joliet IL.  The meet was attended by 30 ALPCA members with attendees from 5 different states and plenty of donuts were available. Long distance was Jim Dowell from Florida. Favorite plate was a New Buffalo Fire Dept from Bill Leske. Robert Lozins won the best display award for his official number ones.

 

April 2023 Awards

The Mid-America Plate Association held its Spring meet on April 15 in Joliet IL.  The meet was attended by 25 ALPCA members with attendees from 3 different states and plenty of donuts were available. Favorite plate was an Iowa 1940 from Tom Baur. Al Matulis won the best display award for his Ukranian run.

   

 

February 2023 Awards

The Mid-America Plate Association held its Winter meet on February 25 in Peotone IL.  The meet was attended by 63 ALPCA members with attendees from 6 different states and plenty of donuts were available and pizza was provided for lunch. Kevin Zimmerline won the long distance award from Anita Iowa. Favorite plate was an Illinois 1905 City of Chicago from Mike Naughton. Dawn Ditzler won the best display award for 100 years of the same number in the family.
